This is probably the easiest part, you get into something... you learn... you let it die.
I refuse...
It cost 12 dollars to get a nice official size 5 ball at Academy and an air pump for the basketball that is flat in my closet. I begged for an official UEFA Adidas ball but it was twice the cost and much prettier. But who am I fooling, a ball is a ball, that is why this is such a great game. A kid that grows up in a household with little to no cash can buy or borrow a soccer ball.
I read a story on Lionel Messi, forward for FCB, and he said that his family had absolutely nothing when he grew up, his dad bought Messi a ball with the weeks pay that he had received as a
birthday gift when he was a child and he could not put it down. Pundits have already placed the greatest forwards in the game title on him, and I cannot argue... for one, I have not studied all the current forwards in the game and Messi has been hurt the last 6 weeks with a torn thigh muscle.
The point of the story is that anybody can pick up the game, rich or poor.
